One strap, two jobs. A swivel clip for your phone at one end, a round spring clip for your bag at the other.
For phone duty, clip the swivel end to the included tab. The tab sits between your phone and a compatible case; no glue or tools needed. For bag duty, clip both ends to your bag's rings: a shoulder strap for totes, camera bags and crossbody bags. Braided with more rope work than our lanyards, so it reads as a strap, not a string.

Yes, you need a case. The strap clips onto a thin tab that sits between your phone and its case, and the case is what holds it in place. Most full-cover cases work, as long as there's a small opening at the charging port. Cases with a long or fully open bottom edge won't hold it. Fits phones 4 to 7 inches. The clip is a swivel clip and the tab is a tether tab, which you can use with or without the D-ring.
Not as a phone strap. The tab needs a compatible case. As a bag strap, no case is involved.

Yes, charge as you always do. The tab sits by the charging port, not over it, so wired and wireless charging work as normal. It is not magnetic: it holds between your phone and case, no MagSafe needed.
