Terms of service

Welcome to Fond Objects. These terms apply when you buy from fondobjects.com. Placing an order means you accept them. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Who we are. Fond Objects is a trading name of Eastfound Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16948217, registered office: 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Contact: hello@fondobjects.com.

Orders. Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email dispatch confirmation; until then we may decline or cancel it (for example, a pricing error or stock issue), in which case you're refunded in full. All prices are in GBP.

Products. Our objects are hand-finished, so small variations in colour, texture and finish are part of the product, not defects. Colours on screen may differ slightly from real life. This doesn't affect your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

Shipping. Costs and timeframes are in our Shipping Policy. Goods are at our risk until delivered to you.

Returns and cancellation. You have 30 days from delivery to return an item. See our Return and Refund Policy, which includes your 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Faulty items. If something arrives damaged or develops a fault in normal use, email us and, if you can, include a photo. Within 30 days of delivery you're entitled to a full refund; after that we'll repair or replace it, or refund you where we can't. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.

Intellectual property. All content on this site, including product designs, photography, text, and the Fond Objects name, is owned by or licensed to us, and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

Liability. We're responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We don't exclude liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This site is for consumers; we're not liable for business losses.

Misuse. We may refuse or cancel orders before acceptance, or where the law allows, in cases of suspected fraud or abuse.

Disputes. We're not required to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme and haven't signed up to one. If something's wrong, email us and we'll fix it directly.

Changes. We may update these terms; the version on the site when you order is the one that applies.

Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This doesn't affect your right to bring proceedings in your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
